Well, I took a chance and bought a slash cut HD muffler on eBay for $22 delivered. I took a gamble. Well the thing came and I was surprised to find the inside gutted! There is this diffusion design that channels the exhaust from the header to the outer walls of the muffler. Where you would see a cylindrical baffle is gone and there is no end plate!
This will be too loud for me and the law I'm sure. It's like a freaking straight pipe.
What should I do? Glass-pack the sucker and weld on an end plate? Buy a baffle somewhere? Toss it? Other?
I thought I'd get the look of a Jardine with a HD sound for cheap. Was I wrong.
